Creative Movement

Age 3-5

• Any style, any color leotard. Tutu’s, ballet skirts, dance shorts, leggings, & leg warmers are all optional.

• Convertible tights in any solid color, or students may go without tights during warm weather.

• Ballet pink leather ballet shoes with elastic strap & strings tucked in.

• Hair should be worn in such a way that it is not distracting during class.

Ballet:

• Dancers should be dressed in form-fitting dancewear. Leotards & ballet skirts may be any solid color & any style .

• Any style of tights in ballet pink or white.

• Canvas or leather ballet shoes in ballet pink with elastic sewn & strings tucked in.

• Dancers should wear minimal jewelry if any.

• Hair MUST be worn up and it face in a bun. For shorter hair, pulled back from the face with a

  headband or clips is acceptable. 

 

 

 

 

 

Jazz, Modern & Contemporary:

• Dancers may wear any style dance attire - leotards, tights, jazz pants, capri pants, dance shorts.

• For jazz - tan, slide-on, split-sole jazz shoes.

• For contemporary - nude canvas ballet shoes or barefoot.

• Dancers may wear minimal cover-ups.

• Minimal jewelry.

• Hair should be worn in such a way that it is not distracting and out of the face 

 

 

 

 

 

Hip-Hop:

• Any comfortable athletic clothing;
  cotton shorts, sweat pants, tank tops, t-shirts, etc.

• Tennis shoes, any style.

• No blue jeans.
